Summary/Abstract: The article reveals one of the most important moment for the entire inter-war external politics of Romania, the essay of entering in a full-power Danubian Confederation and to create a regional alliance, named ”Little Entente”, with Yugoslavia and Czech Republic against revisionism. All the actions took place between 1920 and 1933. The project of the Danube Confederation was inapplicable due to the issues between the great powers and due to reserves had by Romanian government which would to avoid a new” Austria--Hungary” revival on Danube issues. The article presents also, opinions belonging to the main historians who analyzed this important issue of the inter-war period.
