Summary/Abstract: This study examines the formation and development of education in Georgia between the centuries whose borders were determined. Education consciously examines and implements the process of action towards the development of human physical, intellectual and moral skills. Education is also a result. The main way to get an education is to work in educational institutions that are closely related to upbringing. three types of education are distinguished in the early Middle Ages. These are public education, formal education and religious education. Most of the population received public education. All the premises identified in the context of Georgia's educational understanding and practices from the 11th century to the 13th century, including institutions, show that educational activities took place in the center of churches and monasteries. In the process until the 12th century, it is seen that higher education was carried out mainly in Byzantium outside the country, and academies were established from this period at the same time. Within the country, basic education takes place at the Ivirion Monastery, Gelati Academy and Ikalto Academy. The general approaches and thoughts about the education of women and the training of academy teachers are also revealed as a result of the examinations made.
