Summary/Abstract: In this work the authors try to report some of the major changes that happened in the informational society within the last decades, and the impact of these changes upon the new economy. There are some new concepts that are introduced in this report such as new economy, informational society, knowledge society and others. We also tried to show in this report some aspects of the influences of these new concepts in the European economy and of course in the national economy. Although we are a step back, comparing to Europe, the last developments are considerable and there are great expectations for the future. The authors did not want to exhaust this vast subject but they tried to show the importance of these changes in the economy.
