THE ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF KARABAKH AND DIRECTIONS OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTION (FROM HAYDER ALIYEV TO ILHAM ALIYEV)

Summary/Abstract: Karabakh is one of the oldest historical regions of Azerbaijan and at the same time has a large source of raw materials. Our Karabakh is distinguished by its traditions, culture, beautiful corners, natural resources and other unique features. In our article, we will consider the economic potential of Karabakh, as well as the directions of attracting investment. Political, socio-economic changes of the country's investment potential have had wide opportunities after the formation of our republic and the transition to a market economy. Agriculture, tourism and industry cover the economic potential of the liberated areas. These resources, which we have mentioned, encourage us to increase the economic potential of our region and the well-being of citizens. The socio-economic development of our region is a process that requires a lot of resources. It is known that the newly created economic value in the liberated areas will greatly increase the financial expenses of our state. Development of natural resources and minerals promises future opportunities among the factors contributing to investment. The main goals of the regional policy are to attract domestic and foreign investment to the regions, increase production and export.
