Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to investigate and present in a synthetic way, the most important manifestation forms of cross-border organizational crime, highlighting the fact that any potential event in the field of cross-border crime, produced in the area of responsibility, is based on one or more general, geographical, political, economic and social elements and a series of specific elements, corresponding to the area and the population that occupies it. It is obvious that drug trafficking and abuse, organized crime, but also terrorism are threats that seriously affect national and international security. In this context, most democracies from Central and Eastern Europe are particularly vulnerable to these threats. In the empirical research, we used observation, as a research method, but also documentary analysis, the paper being based mainly on explanatory research. The approach on the analysis of the manifestation forms of organized crime in cross border areas opens the horizons of another research, much deeper, which aims to study the intervention of international bodies in stopping cross-border organized crime.
