Summary/Abstract: The complexity of managing an organization today requires that managers be able to measure performance and to analyse the impacts of different performance dimensions on organizational excellence. In this paper we concentrated on two of the most used performance measurement models used alt supply chain management level in order to distinguish between the role of each model and its place in measuring performance in order to achieve not only organizational excellence, but also suppy chain management excellence. The purpose of this paper is developing a better understanding of whether and how performance models like SCOR and Balanced Scorecard should be used in order to facilitate understanding and learning in a supply chain context.
