Summary/Abstract: For the Romanian interwar thinker, the influence of philosophy is a tacit one, even a passive one, because from the philosophical springs are created precisely the premises of some social patterns. The paradigm of the theory of history is formed by philosophical instruments, whether the emphasis is on concepts or on the articulation of theories. Ștefan Zeletin is no longer satisfied with the world of ideas, being put in front of a superficial reception of his thinking. Thus, he seeks to contribute himself to the implementation of the stated ideas. Consequently, from the philosophical system created, he ends up framing his own ideas in articles, studies and educational works for the pre-university environment, where he was a professor. The influence of philosophy in theories on history also appears as a result of the detachment from the world of ideas for the real world, respectively the Romanian interwar society. However, we cannot admit a total departure from philosophy to know society through its own theory of history, but rather a temporary renunciation of a series of metaphysical concerns, due to its reception by the intellectuals of the time. Through this study we try to outline, on the one hand, the internal framework regarding the emergence of the concepts that underlie its conception, and on the other hand, we try to identify some landmarks for the genealogy of ideas formulated for the theory of history.
