Knowledge society – the absent term in adult education studies

Summary/Abstract: The author states that together with the development of our civilization the epistemological foundations of society are changing too. Chronologically the-se were: wisdom, knowledge and information. The article analyses the turn from knowledge society to information society and its consequences for the area of adult education studies.
