Summary/Abstract: The aim of this text is to analyze a cognition of Polish social insurance court in the cases where the UE regulations on social security systems coordination are applied. The cognition is treated here as a determination of the factual and legal issues that should be examined by the court. In conclusion the author states that the discussed cognition is a subject of substantial limitations which are derived from a characterics of the proceedings aiming at determination of the legislation applicable to the person concerned.
