Summary/Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic caused a resizing of the business environment, and the restrictions imposed led to the reorganization of the procedures carried out. In this context, the business environment, but also the decision-makers have realized how indispensable are the digitalization of the rules of commercial law and the implementation in the field of the already existing technologies. European company law is constantly being transformed and adapted to the European context of the single market, so that Directive 2019/1151 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 amending Directive (EU) 2017/1132 as regards the use of digital tools and processes in company law requires Member States to adopt internal rules governing the possibility for companies to register, set up new branches or submit documents to the online business register without the need to physically go to public authorities. The present study proposes an analysis of the provisions of this Directive in the current context, by reference to the internal regulations.
