Summary/Abstract: Nicolae Iorga's connections with the ladies of the Royal Family of Romania are known from the memoirs and daily notes of the scholar and Queen Maria. The six unpublished letters, part of the valuable “Iorga-Pippidi Collection”, presented in this article, bring new information about the close relations between the queen and the historian, but also present a letter from Princess Mignon, future queen of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and one of Princess Elena of Greece, which attests mutual friendship and admiration.
