Summary/Abstract: In this article, I made a chronological incursion into the main stylistic theories and research directions in the poetic-semantic analysis of literary texts, in the Romanian space, but especially in the European and Anglo-Saxon space after 1950. The purpose of this information is that to underline the evolution of stylistics'vision regarding the notion of beauty, always researched from a philosophical perspective. Tradition shows us that the first stylistics were philosophers of the idea of Beautiful, just as, nowadays, analysts of literary texts are experts in language sciences and linguistic philosophy.
