Summary/Abstract: The information covered in the article "The pedagogical framework of integrity and continuity in the preschool-primary education system (6-9 years)" presents a theoretical foundation of the concepts of integrity and continuity, transitional crisis, the preschool-primary education system, being based on scientific evidences in the field. The author suggests an opening to examine the age characteristics of 6-9 year old children, the specifics of the transition crisis for a better understanding of the integrity and continuity of these two stages, from the perspective of the preschool-primary education system. Shifting the emphasis on the functional specifications of the preschool-primary educational system is generated by the need to obtain better results in the adaptation of children to the new school environment, promoting the idea of integrity and continuity.
