Summary/Abstract: The lyrical universe of Mihai Eminescu and that of Lucian Blaga, two of the canonical poets of Romanian literature, are an extension of each other, in an integrating vision that, beyond the literary currents that separate them, finds its correspondences at the level of poetic imagery, defining for a certain sensibility. These writers develop a genuine mythology of the national undulating space, in which motifs such as the mountain, the forest, the moon define a certain manner of relating the being to the mysteries of the universe. In this context, the utterance gives way to the gaze and facilitates communication with the self, in an effort to reintegrate the being into the cosmos achieved only through reverie, meditation and poetic creation.
