Summary/Abstract: Little has been written about Sorin Titel and his prose. Remarkable in the style of Ioan Slavici, and, from his generation, similar to Ștefan Bănulescu, Sorin Titel makes his debut admirably in the role of storyteller and will not leave the stage otherwise. Compared to other writers, the stakes of Titel's prose will never be the novel or the transition to something else, but the stakes will be and will remain narrative technique. It is the first element that distinguishes him and gives his work its core. From whatever corner of literature one draws inspiration, Romanian or not, contemporary or classical, all valences of his writing converge towards the uniqueness of narrative technique.
