The 2014 presidential elections in Hunedoara County

Summary/Abstract: The presidential elections in Hunedoara county can be characterized once more as being atypical, the citizens’ vote disconcerted the pre-election predictions of the parties. There were reported only minor problems, similar to those of the previous elections. Even if the final victory was claimed by Victor Ponta, as a result of the two rounds, the difference was so little that the victory was one extremely fragile, the Social Democratic Party losing many electors in the second round, especially in the rural area, where this time Klaus Iohannis was the preferred candidate.
