Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is to reveal aspects of the Internet of Things and its components, i.e. applications, data and networks, which are important from the information architecture point of view (understood as a field and practical activity). Those artefacts also entitled smart devices that make easier for a modern human to perform various tasks. The author’s goal was to answer the following questions: 1. How does information architecture facilitate the use of smart objects? 2. Will information architects design not only for people in the future, but also for smart devices? Information architecture provide humanistic point of view into the technology, and can affect the “humanization” of devices connected by the web and the way we use it.
