Summary/Abstract: The article offers a model and components of musicological competence, derived in connection with the study of the artistic and performing culture of future music teachers. Criteria and indicators used in the implementation of a test to establish an attitude to musicological activity are presented. Conclusions are made from the analysis of the obtained results.
