Summary/Abstract: The article offers theoretical foundations for the nature and structure of music pedagogical competence, derived in connection with the study of the artistic-performing culture of future music teachers. Criteria and indicators used in the implementation of a test to establish an attitude towards music pedagogical activity are presented. Conclusions are drawn from the analysis of the obtained results.
