TRASHËGIMIA E PËRBASHKËT ARKIVORE PËRTEJ KUFIJVE POLITIKË
COMMON ARCHIVE HERITAGE ACROSS POLITICAL BORDERS

Summary/Abstract: Archives and our national archive network, today it has been transformed into a modern institution, dynamic and highly sought after by society in general. This demand comes from the real problems that are presented for solution before the social categories. Therefore, they individually and institutionally are being addressed to our network to provide assistance and find solutions. In the past and today the politics in the society plan appears parceled, and political parties becomes unique when they come in power. Regardless of “political forces” in time, ideologies, archives attract, administer, process, preserve and create real conditions and opportunities for the utilization of “archival material” of any time or political system. Such phenomena in the archival field are not individual wishes but activities organized and directed by the law “For Archives”, which was drafted on principles, norms and theories on archival work. The Law “For Archives” is based on the way of administration of the entire documentary treasure created in space and time and declared “national cultural heritage”. After the 1990s, our nation underëent radical transformations, but in 1992 the Albanian government by decision declared part of the wealth of our national archival fund and cultural heritage all the documentation created by the fund creators of that system in the years 1945-1990, already overthrown and the state took it into custody. There have been and are archives where Albanian and foreign citizens have found solutions for the problems of political struggle, for property problems, for social problems after the working age with the sole purpose of placing the individual citizen's dignity in the deserved position.
