Summary/Abstract: It can be expected that a new national security strategy of the Republic of Poland should be published in the spring of 2024. This is due to the need to take into account those matters in the field of external and internal security that have taken place since May 2020 when the current strategy is in force. This can be referred to, for example, the ongoing war in Ukraine, the accession of Sweden and Finland to NATO, the end of the CoViD-19 pandemic, Britain's departure from the European Union structures, the strengthening of the PRC's role in the world, the international and trade isolation of the Russian Federation, the depopulation of our country, the occurrence of high inflation, environmental and technical threats. The new strategy must place a stronger emphasis on military security, critical infrastructure and defense facilities (industry, reserves, trained personnel, organizational structures, command system, civil defense) and political cooperation within NATO and the EU.
