Summary/Abstract: There is a need to create a new administrative map of Poland. The result of these activities should be the establishment of two new voivodships: Central Pomerania, Czestochowa and the Mazovia division into the Warsaw voivodship and the rest of Mazovia. As a result of such administrative measures, one would expect faster socioeconomic development of new metropolises, improvement of state management and further reduction of differences between regions of our country. The local community has been demanding this kind of change for years. The new administrative division of the country should be applied from the beginning of 2021. Rapid political decisions are needed in this area.
