Summary/Abstract: The title question is provocative. The aim of the article, however, is not to question the religious character of Christianity (and all religion), but to point out that the very term “religion”, its ambiguity and various definitions of religion deform their peculiarity. The consequence of this is treating Christianity (and religion) in the same way as social formations such as political parties, trade unions, various kinds of societies, corporations, etc., which blurs the peculiarity of Christianity. Meanwhile, Christianity (and other religions) is the way of being of a person, of Christian who entrusted to Christ and as a believer lives in the world as it is. Understanding this sets a proper view of Christianity without distorting it.
