Summary/Abstract: Tito’s scholarship fund for young workers and workers’ children in the municipality of Bjelovar operated from 1974 to 1990. It was an integral part of Tito’s fund of the Socialist Republic of Croatia, which operated from 1974 until the collapse of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The fund had a general Yugoslav character and operated in all republics and autonomous provinces. We will present the activities of the fund in the municipality of Bjelovar based on archival material stored in the Croatian State Archives in Zagreb, the State Archives in Bjelovar, articles in the local Bjelovar newspaper, and memories of Bjelovar scholarship recipients.
