Summary/Abstract: The study aims to interpret the film Persona by Ingmar Bergman through the prism of the philosophy of M. Heidegger, J. Derrida and J. L. Nancy. The study actualises the concepts of being, life, death, silence and speech to problematise the relationship and conflicts of the characters in the film narrative. The subject of interpretation is the specific close-up visual and narrative techniques that put the character in the foreground against the action.
