Summary/Abstract: Romania’s special economic situation during the Second World War did not deter it from allying with the United Nations and contributing economically, military and politically to the war effort. Romania occupied the fourth place in the world after the Soviet Union, United Nations and Great Britain which was an honorable thing given that its economy had been deeply affected by the German ally till 23 August and after this date, by the Soviet one.
