Summary/Abstract: The article presents six Supreme Court rulings from 2022 dedicated to tort liability. Among them are whether damages are compensated in case of wrongful birth, if a laboratory test gave false result, as well as whether damages could be claimed from an insurance company under "civil liability" insurance for damages caused by defective goods, given that the law provides for a tort liability of the manufacturer. Issues of strict liability for wild animal damage are also discussed – who is the liable person, as well as whether donations made for the treatment of а victim of a car accident exclude compensation for damages, and also whether value added tax is included in the amount of compensation awarded for lost profits, etc.
