Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper was to understand the Counterterrorism Systemic Solutions in the Context of Places of Worshipin Poland, in particular, their infrastructure. A critical literature review was conducted and included the following sources: available literatureon the subject, official documents and legal acts, the author’s personal experience and interviews with many specialists from the securityand risk management sector, such as rescue teams and the civil defence and counterterrorism prevention units. The interviews were in theform of brief unrecorded conversations, which offered a basic understanding of current issues faced by each stakeholder whereas the criticalreview of available literature helped to highlight what could be adapted and crucial in terms of the Counterterrorism SystemicSolutionsin the Context of Places of Worship in Poland. In Poland, it could be argued that places of worship are not prepared for terrorist attacks. Theonly existing solutions that may have an impact on the state/level of their security are CCTV monitoring, and in some cases, the anti-theftsystems. In many countries, the process of adjusting buildings for terrorist events is well developed. This can be seen through the collaborationthat exists between policing authorities and religious communities. The law enforcement agencies are also responsible for the safety of theindividuals who are part of each individual religious group. Consequently, various substantive counterterrorism measures and technicalsolutions have been established. However, in the Polish context, it could be argued that preparation for such events or specific strategy doesnot exist. The major challenge is the low level of awareness concerning the topic and the lack of need to be prepared for terrorist attacks
