The history of the foundation and evolution of the special School of Artillery and Military Engineering

Summary/Abstract: The history of Romanian military education is proof that the Romanian Army has invested countless resources in the promotion and development of military science and technology, in the preparation and training of officers, in ensuring an optimal educational climate, according to the standards of the respective times. The establishment of the Special School of Artillery and Military Engineering represented a particularly important moment in the evolution of Romanian military education and managed to solve a problem for the technical and specialized training of artillery and engineering officers. At the same time, it represented a model for the future schools established, which had as their educational objective the training of officers in army and military specialties.
