Summary/Abstract: Morality is an issue that, both on the theoretical side and on the practical side, functions in many areas of human activity. Adequately defining morality allows us to understand what it is and how it affects the decisions or moral choices made by individuals. The concept functions mainly on the level of ethics and moral theology, but it is also dealt with in psychology. A psychological attempt to understand morality makes it possible to relate it to the way an individual functions, based on various concepts. One of these is the conception of moral intelligence. The acquisition of moral skills and the development of moral intelligence are carried out at various stages of a person's life. This article presents the characteristics of morality in early adulthood. A theoretical analysis of the processes that occur in the moral sphere during early adulthood allows us to see how they can affect the individual and social functioning of young adults.
