The comparative analysis of Polish Voivodeships with respect to sustainable development in 2010

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is a comparative analysis of level of sustainable develop-ment of voivodeships in Poland. The level of the economy, society and environment part of sustainable development has been described using TOPSIS as well as Hellwig method. The values of selected synthetic measures have been obtained and the ranking of voivodeships in Poland in regard to the searched problem has been built. Finally, the comparison of the re-sults obtained by grouping regions using those methods has been made. The study used sta-tistics for the year 2010.
