Summary/Abstract: Purchasing behavior (market behavior) of patients is conditioned directly by the access to the medical services, resulting from national system solutions. In the paper, in or-der to conduct the medical service market segmentation, there were applied methods of mul-tidimensional comparative analysis: correspondence analysis and Ward’s method. The anal-ysis was based on data describing the health behavior of more than 1,000 Polish citizens.
