Summary/Abstract: Introduction: Glaucoma is defined as a group of diseases of different etiology, the common feature of which is progressive neuropathy of the optic nerve, which results in irreversible damage to visual functions. Globally, glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness and represents a serious health and socioeconomic problem. Methods: In our study, by using a questionnaire of visual functions and its slight modification, we evaluated the results of the surgical solution of secondary glaucoma in the postoperative period. Results: The questionnaire was sent to 98 patients, 65 patients submitted a completed questionnaire with all questions answered, which represents a 66.3 % return rate of the questionnaire. Conclusion: The results evaluate the quality of the patients’ health care, as well as the impact on their long term quality of life and health.
