Summary/Abstract: Introduction: For many years, breast cancer has been one of the most common malignant diseases of the female population in most developed European countries and the developed countries of the world. The etiology of the disease is still unknown, i.e. that there is no primary prevention. We are left with secondary prevention, which includes two basic aspects - to diagnose the tumor at an early stage and to influence the population of women through systematic professional health education so that, in addition to self examination, they also regularly visit a specialist doctor and contact a specialist in case of any symptoms. The core of the work: The goal of the work is a summary and overview of risk factors that have an impact on the development of breast cancer. Risk factors are those that increase the coefficient of the occurrence of the disease compared to the population that does not have any risk factors. We are also dedicated to breast cancer screening as the only method of early detection and reduction of mortality. Conclusion: In the work, we summarize an overview of risk factors that should be discussed and published as part of education, because some factors can influence women and thus help in prevention.
