Summary/Abstract: The study presents some aspects of the political life of the Duchy of Bukovina at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, when there were important changes in forces as a result of developments in the empire and the province. These make up an image of the province characterized by continuity and transformation, under the impact of the appearance on the political scene of new social categories, as a result of the electoral reforms in the empire, from 1897 and 1907.
