Summary/Abstract: This study presents the historical and political significance of the coronation of King Ferdinand and Queen Marie of Romania at Alba Iulia on October 15, 1922, as it resulted from the comparison with the similar event that took place in Bucharest on May 10, 1881, i.e. the consecration of the crowns of King Carol I and Queen Elizabeth.
