Legal liability in the matter of the Internet of Things (IoT)

Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics will create new opportunities and advantages for our society, but the current legislation contains a series of gaps in relation to these innovative technologies. In this context, the author shows that the liability in the case of damages caused in connection with these technologies presents some particularities that require special attention, especially in relation to the burden of proof and the sharing of liability.
