How to write a text. A lesson from Andrei Pleșu

Summary/Abstract: In 2012 I applied for the scholarships offered by New Europe College. After the interview I received a polite, short and firm rejection letter in the mail. At the bottom of the page, however, Mr Andrei Pleșu had added a few lines in pen saying that he liked the project and urging me to look for it in September, hoping that additional funding would be found for me. In four points, I can sum up how I learned to write, so as not to disappoint Mr. Pleșu. I don't know if I succeeded, but the lesson should be mentioned here.
