NON-STANDARD FORMS OF SUPPORT FOR DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, in terms of supporting a family in a problem-crisis situation, many solutions are used - from systemic social assistance, family assistantship to therapeutic activities. The burden of responsibility for supporting families in crisis, and children in them, is assumed by state institutions, or increasingly NGOs, which, however, operate on the basis of already established forms of support in social welfare. The opportunity for effective support, however, should be seen in activities that recognize the potential of the family and its ability, with targeted support, to self-organize. The support offered through the Family Group Conference and Family Support fits into this approach.
