Summary/Abstract: The author of the article is describing and evaluating changes which are planned in the Polish higher education system as a part of the reform currently being implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Beginning with introducing the diagnosis of Polish scientists’ achievements, which had posed a foundation for formula of the Enactment 2.0, by describing of all the stages of its preparation, listing its advantages and, last but not least, indicating possible dangers – the author undertakes an insightful analysis of the planned reform. The text is an attempt of expressing not only personal author’s attitude towards the problem, but also the mood throughout the academic communities of Poland on the eve of the transformation.
