Summary/Abstract: During archaeological campaign of 2021, three trenches were excavated. Moreover, this excavation identified numerous pits made by treasure hunters in the 19th and 20th centuries. Furthermore, it was revealed that in this area the medieval levelling was of lesser extent, elements from the previous Dacian palisade having been discovered. The archaeological material was very rich, consisting of pottery and bones, metal artefacts (especially that made from iron) dated to the medieval period (nails, horse bits, spurs, buckles, arrows, appliques, and a dinar from Bela IV). Most of the materials dated to the Dacian period were in a secondary position, including a Roman bronze ring with a gem. The second Roman bronze ring was discovered in a surface survey in 2022 archaeological campaign. Our discoveries were made from glass and opal, and engraved with the image of Bonus Eventus. With these two gems, the number of intaglios bearing the image of Bonus Eventus and discovered in Porolissum, was raised to four items.
