The impact of prison subculture on prisons safety-theory

Summary/Abstract: The article presents, the impact of prison subculture on prisons safety in Poland. The text has been split in three ways: characteristic of prison subculture, the most important things about subculture, and the negative ways which are leading to dangerous situations in prisons. In the rest of the text there are countermeasures against prison subculture used by prison guards. The purpose of the text was to do research about situations made by prison subculture like fights, self-harm, and rapes on another inmate. It shows intensity of these situations and their impact on Polish prisons safety.
