Summary/Abstract: 80 years before, in February 1924, died the former president of USA Thomas Woodrow Wilson. In this case the Constitutional Assembly in Tirana paid him homage holding five minutes of silence. It was for the first time that the Albanian Parliament began such a practice after only four years of his life. We have to do with a historical fact which has not been treated by the Albanian historiography of the period of the previous one-party governance. This circumstance incited prof. Çami to deal with this fact on the occasion of the jubilee year of the death of Th.W. Wilson. The homage paid by the Albanian legislators was not a casual phenomenon, puts in evidence the author. The cause of this action Mr. Çami finds in the positive echo aroused in the Albanian milieu by the stand of the American president towards the Albanian question in the proceedings of the Peace Conference in the years 1919-1920 (...)
