The Political Thought of the NEwspaper "Drita" on the Vlora's War

Summary/Abstract: To the author of this writing has made a great ilnpression, has drawn the attention the combative content ofthe newspaper "Drita" with respect to the solution of the 111ajor problem put forward before the Albanian people in 1920. It is question for the fierce conflict witht the Italian occupiers with the political future of Vlore, and of the region, a conflict which in the summer of 1920 was transformed in armed war. The analysis of the newspaper's writings begins with its publication in Gjirokaster on March 1920, and continues until August 1920 when ended the Vlora's war with the victory ofthe Albanian forces. Following the content the author has put in evidence the fact that in the first weeks after the coming out of the newspaper the conflict on the Vlora's question \vas not raised directly and was passed under silence on purpose. The publishers did not want to aggravate the relations with the Italians to an extrerne degree before had found a certain solution another conflict, that with Greece.
