Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author deals with the main elements of the philoso- phy of history as presented to us by Svetislav Basara in his novel The Rise and Fall of Parkinson’s Disease. In the first place, the close connection of Basara’s conception of history with the understanding of history given by Christian (primarily Orthodox) theology is pointed out.
