Summary/Abstract: The Second World War was a turning point in human history and human destinies. Ever since the end of the war, people have been trying to find out and explain what happened during the six years of war. Thus began the titanic task of writing the history of this event using the methods available to researchers in the post-war years. One of the most successful methods of qualitative research was and remains the interview.
