Summary/Abstract: The article gives an insight into the Eleventh Edition of Koprivshtitsa’s 2015 National Festival of Folklore with regard to the event’s main structural and spatial dimensions. The circumstances related to holding that cultural event have been highlighted, i.e. the competitors and their distribution in the various stages, the participants not engaged in the competition, the jurying of the festival, etc. The opening and closing ceremonies have also been outlined. The folk music performed at Koprivshtitsa 2015, systemised on a regional basis, has been quantitatively analysed. The paper ends by addressing the question of both participants and visitors’ perception of the event and the way they view its role in their lives.
