Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to show the tasks of the teacher as a person responsible for arranging the educational space in a kindergarten for learning and introducing well- thought- out changes in education in the field of arousing childern’s interest in books and literature and preparing pupils for reading.The basic categories analyzed in the article are: educational change, educational space of kindergarten, children’s interested in book and literature, children’s learning.The conclusions presented in the article are mainly based on a review of the literature on the subject and on analysis of documents.The educational solutions presented in the publication allow for a better understanding of the changes in the educational space.
