Summary/Abstract: In the present study we will focus our attention on the so-called somatic phraseological units, more precisely those with a nomination of the external organ – the head in the Bulgarian-Slovak context. The aim of the research is to find out how productive this concept is in both languages and to determine the parallels and differences in the research language area.
