Phrasal units with white and black colour as a constituent in Bulgarian-Slovak context

Summary/Abstract: The present article compares and contrasts the phraseological units with the components white and black colours in two Slavic languages - Bulgarian and Slovak. The purpose of the study is to establish the similarities and differences in this specific language area. For this purpose, we register the presence/absence of an equivalent or analog within the excerpted phraseological material and take into account the so-called equivalent relations, which M. Koshkova discusses. Last but not least, we try to establish the motivation of the excerpted phraseological units.
